About the School
Missionaries Len and Migdalia were led by God to open Centro Misionero Para el Desarrollo Integral de Sordos (Missionary Center for the Integral Development of the Deaf) in Consuelo because there wasn’t another school in the area for the deaf.
After 18 months of preparation, the school was opened with 18 students in attendance.
The school today has 70 students in attendance and a team of teachers & staff of 12 people altogether. After a long tedious process the school obtained its national recognition as a learning center for the deaf and now forms part of the country's educational system.
